Acción
La acción es un género de videojuegos en el que el éxito en la realización de una tarea u otra depende de la velocidad de reacción del jugador y de su capacidad para tomar decisiones correctas rápidamente. La dinámica de estos juegos es alta, aunque algunos permiten reducir el ritmo. Este género incluye con mayor frecuencia juegos de lucha, disparos, plataformas y algunos subgéneros de estrategia en tiempo real. En los juegos de acción pueden estar presentes elementos de exploración, carreras, rompecabezas y otros, pero la base siempre se construye sobre la coordinación visual-motora.
