Parkan: The Imperial Chronicles

A space simulator with elements of shooter, strategy, and role-playing games, Parkan is set in the year 4097 in the Lentis sector. The pilot of the imperial ship Parkan, assigned to the Argus patrol base, must find a missing Survey Service vessel, discover what happened to it, and return to base. The ship is stranded near an unknown sun, so the first steps are to restore its interstellar travel capability and secure fuel.

Players explore randomly generated star systems, equip the ship with weapons and navigation systems, assemble a squadron of drone ships, and fight in space battles. Encounters with planetary inhabitants and pirates open up paths such as trading or working as a mercenary. Other activities include colonizing planets, negotiating with robot clans, boarding ships, and founding a clan. The objective is set, but the route to achieving it is left to the player.
