This science-fiction space simulator follows a search for a new home for humanity, as a starship races through star systems at the speed of light, where mistakes can prove fatal. In Hyperspeed, the player encounters alien races whose intentions are unclear: they may offer help, seek to exploit or corrupt the crew, or try to destroy it.
Conflicts can be approached through diplomacy, trade, or combat. The 15,000-foot starship carries remote-controlled fighters, a plasma gun, and high-tech probes. Potential adversaries include the Stentor, time-travelling space pirates, the energy beings known as the ZOR, the Collectors, and the highly intelligent Jot. Decisions must be made quickly.
