This role-playing game with turn-based battles is set in Zubalon, where its inhabitants, the Zubos, stand against a force bent on world domination. Music is woven into everyday life there, from tuneful plant life to notes used as currency.
Players explore Zubalon, meet Zubos and recruit them to a squad. They can feed and nurture their companions, building their skills and strength for battles against the Zombos. Combat involves using the stylus in time with the music, while mini-games and other interactions with the characters offer additional activities. A total of 55 Zubos can be found and recruited.
