An isometric scrolling shooter about piloting a spacecraft through fortified space fortresses and stretches of open space. The ship moves forward at a constant speed, while the player adjusts its altitude and shifts it sideways to pass between walls and other obstacles, dodge enemy fire, and hit targets. The objective is to score points without being shot down.
An altimeter and the ship’s shadow help indicate its height. Fuel must be monitored during each run and can be replenished by destroying fuel tanks. Progress requires judging the ship’s position in space and manoeuvring in time to avoid colliding with the fortress’s structures.
