This action role-playing game with puzzle elements is set in Shibuya, where Neku wakes amid the city bustle and receives a message warning that he will cease to exist unless he completes a mission. He must explore the streets and piece together what is happening around him.
Combat makes use of psychic abilities: Neku can read people’s thoughts, put words into their minds, and move objects. The player also keeps up with fashion trends, shops for items, and uses them to stay ahead of enemies. Wireless play offers minigames for up to four participants and item trading with other players.
