This first-person science-fiction shooter follows Sergeant Cortez on a journey through the past, present, and future to trace the origin of the malevolent TimeSplitters and prevent humanity’s destruction. Spanning the years 1914 to 2401, the campaign uses time travel to let Cortez team up with past and future versions of himself.
The story combines firefights, puzzles, and animated cutscenes, and can be played cooperatively by two players. Challenge, Arcade, and multiplayer modes offer additional ways to play, including competitive matches. A map editor lets players create and play their own maps.
