This vertically scrolling arcade shooter puts players in control of World War II-era fighter planes as they try to stop the secret organization CANY from taking over the world. Strikers 1945 features six aircraft, each with distinct abilities. Battleships and tanks transform into futuristic mechs, and bosses appear throughout the stages.
Power-up items strengthen the player’s plane and add sub-weapons, while bombs deal damage over an area. Charging a shot unleashes a powerful formation attack. Arcade Mode offers seven difficulty levels; Score Attack uses a fixed difficulty and number of lives, with scores submitted to global rankings. Options include adjustable difficulty, lives and continues, controls, and screen orientation.
