An arcade spin-off of Spore, this game focuses on the cell phase and an organism’s struggle to survive in a tide pool. The player attacks and eats other life forms, collects their DNA, and avoids stronger creatures. The main campaign is divided into 18 sections, or 30 in the iPhone version.
After every three levels, an editor lets the organism gain an upgrade to its perception, attack, defense, or movement. A Survival mode is also available, challenging the player to collect pellets on a single screen while dodging creatures.
