A space combat simulator with first- and third-person views, Space Interceptor puts the player in battles against enemy fleets and turrets among massive ships, asteroid fields, and canyons on planetary surfaces. Missions unfold under fire from guns and missiles, while explosions and lighting change in real time.
The ship carries primary lasers, missiles for attacking ships and ground targets, photon torpedoes, and a plasma glob launcher. Wingmen operate on their own and assist with missions without requiring input from the player.
