Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor is a role-playing strategy game set in Tokyo, placed under lockdown after a demon invasion. The hero and their friends are among the people trapped in the city, and they come into possession of mysterious COMP devices. These devices let them make contracts with demons and use them in battles against otherworldly creatures.
Other demon tamers operate amid the chaos, pursuing goals that include justice, peace, and power. The hero must uncover where the demons came from, who created the COMP devices, and what purpose they serve. The answers could determine more than the survival of the hero and their companions.
