This first-person, turn-based role-playing game is set in Tokyo in 199X, after demons from the netherworld of Makai return to Earth and upset the balance of power. The hero receives a demon-summoning program by email and becomes involved in the conflict that follows.
During battles, the player can negotiate with demons, bribe them, or coerce them into joining the party. Recruited demons are stored on a computer and summoned to fight; two or three can also be fused to create a more powerful demon. In the aftermath of the destruction, the hero must decide whether the world will become a realm of absolute order, fall into eternal chaos, or reject both sides and oppose everyone who stands in the way.
