This hack-and-slash action game follows the samurai Daisuke as he crosses a war-scarred countryside in pursuit of his arch-enemy, Orochi. His journey leads through a seafaring village, a flying fortress and the legendary Isle of the Dead; illustrated comic panels between levels tell the story.
Combat pits Daisuke against hordes of enemies, with rolls to evade attacks and ranged foes to eliminate before they can strike. Levels also feature environmental puzzles, traps and useful items. Skilled play allows players to upgrade the samurai’s health, unlock new attack combos and strengthen them. A separate survival mode challenges him to withstand waves of enemies and earn a high score.
