Quake 4 is a science-fiction first-person shooter and a direct sequel to Quake II. Marine Corporal Matthew Kane, a member of the elite Rhino Squad, joins Earth’s invasion of Stroggos, the homeworld of the alien Strogg. The campaign follows the fight to save humanity and strike at the heart of the Strogg war machine.
Kane battles alone and alongside his squad, using an arsenal of weapons and piloting mechanized walkers and hover tanks. After he is captured, he is transformed into a Strogg and gains enhanced abilities. Multiplayer modes let players fight as Marines or Strogg in Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, and Capture the Flag.

Un juego excelente que tomó lo mejor de las entregas anteriores y lo multiplicó añadiendo características interesantes.
La trama ha mejorado, las escenas cinemáticas están bien hechas (la más genial aparecerá un poco más adelante, al principio, donde se presentará el juego), los enemigos son normales, los jefes y sus ataques son coloridos.
La jugabilidad a veces me pareció aburrida, pero esos momentos fueron escasos y quedaron cubiertos por otros fragmentos del juego, donde me pareció una obra maestra que recordaré durante mucho tiempo.
En definitiva, puedo decir que me gustó mucho el juego; es una pena que aún no haya secuela. (Escribí todo esto sobre la campaña, sin mencionar el juego en línea, ya que lo compré solo por eso (bueno, también porque es una saga de culto que finalmente terminé).)
Отличная игра, которая взяла все лучше из прошлых частей и приумножила, добавив свои интересные фишки.
Сюжет стал лучше, катсцены сделаны неплохо (самая крутая будет чуть позже начала, где будет завязка игры), враги нормальные, красочные боссы и их атаки.
Геймплей иногда мне казался скучным, но этих моментов было мало и их перекрывали другие фрагменты игры, где мне казалось, что это шедевр, который я запомню надолго.
В итоге можно написать, что игра очень понравилась, жаль, что до сих пор нет продолжения. (Все это я писал про кампанию, не затрагивая игру по сети, так как брал игру только из-за нее (ну ещё из-за культовости серии, которую я наконец прошёл))!
A great shooter with tons and tons of monsters to shred and tear apart :))) absolute fun and lots of weapons with a fast paced gameplay and endless turn of events will make u question if this was a horror game or action :)))
