Psy High

This text-based role-playing mystery follows high-school students who develop psychic powers and investigate supernatural secrets in their small town. The protagonist teams up with friends to solve a case and stop the school principal from taking over the world, while the player’s choices shape the story. There are no graphics or sound effects; the narrative relies on text and imagination.

Players choose the protagonist’s gender and sexual orientation, as well as their place in the school’s social scene—as an athlete, actor, brain, or rebel. Psychic abilities can be used to help others or pursue personal gain, and decisions affect relationships, school life, and the character’s future. The story also involves uncovering the town’s secrets and pursuing romance, while leaving open whether to stop the principal, join his plan, or take his powers.
