This top-down action RPG with roguelike elements takes place in the Edgewood Home for Lost Children, where the students have turned against one another after their teacher disappeared. Cordy fights her way past unruly classmates and dangerous creatures, climbing toward the Administrators’ offices on the upper floors of the home.
Each run features procedurally generated levels, enemy encounters, and boss fights. Death is permanent, but accomplishments provide resources for purchasing lessons and upgrades after a run ends. As Cordy levels up, she chooses new abilities, while randomized perks and upgrades allow for different combinations and combat styles. Exploring the home also reveals more about its secrets, the disappearance of the adults, and the Administrators’ purpose.
