A first-person shooter with roguelike elements and pixel-art graphics follows a nameless adventurer exploring a dungeon to destroy the obelisks that the forces of Evil use to invade the world. Its levels are procedurally generated, and the different areas vary in appearance, features, and inhabitants.
The adventurer fights with melee weapons, magic staffs, and antique artefacts. The game includes more than 30 enemy types and more than 80 items, as well as a parallel universe with manually created locations. Using artefacts reduces the character’s sanity, while modifiers selected before a run can alter the gameplay. The game also features permadeath.
