This graphical interactive fiction adventure draws on Roger Zelazny’s fantasy novels Nine Princes in Amber and The Guns of Avalon. Prince Corwin, son of King Oberon, seeks the throne of Amber, which his brothers also covet, particularly Eric. He must contend with assassination attempts and family intrigues while trying to form alliances with some of his siblings.
The adventure is controlled by typed commands entered into a text parser. Players can issue action commands such as “take” or “sit,” as well as communicate with characters by asking, demanding, or expressing affection. The game has 40 possible endings.
