This action role-playing game with survival and crafting elements follows a fallen warrior whose soul ends up in the harsh world of Niffelheim instead of reaching Asgard. To escape, the hero collects pieces of a portal to Asgard and fights the giants, spiders and undead hordes guarding them.
The player gathers provisions and materials, defends their lands and builds a fortress to help repel attacks. Bones, teeth and fur can be made into weapons and armor, while mushrooms and slain creatures provide ingredients for potions, meals and poison. Exploring ancient caves reveals powerful artifacts, and the Death Priests issue ultimatums that can be rejected in favor of battle against their undead minions.
