A futuristic real-time tactics game set in the fourth millennium, it follows prisoners fighting in a galaxy-wide televised tournament where defeat means death and victory offers freedom. The player assembles a team of combatants with different skills and weapons, manages resources, and fights in an arena where buildings and other structures can be destroyed.
Between battles, the team can develop a persistent base by building defenses, setting traps and weapons, and planting gardens to entertain the crowd. In the arena, combatants collect rewards and infiltrate the enemy stronghold with the aim of destroying it.
