Nation Red is a top-down arena shooter about fighting hordes of zombies and their bosses. After a long lull, the undead return to the Arizona desert, and some are carrying weapons; the hunt for humans has begun. Combat ranges from close-quarters attacks to the use of varied weapons, including machetes, axes, flamethrowers and grenades.
The game includes Free Play, Survival and Barricade modes, in which the base must be defended from attacks, as well as a series of 18 missions. Play is available solo or in online and local co-op. Battles earn perks, while character modifiers and power-ups affect the hero’s abilities.
