This top-down action game based on the Mad Max film series takes place in a desert world after a global war. The player spends most of the game driving a car, but occasionally controls the protagonist on foot.
The six levels alternate between two types. In Road War stages, the player must obtain a pass and find the exit while contending with enemies and hazards; in Arena stages, enemy cars must be pushed into a pit to open the way forward. Fuel supplies must be managed, while weapons, resources, and shops help along the way. The final level ends with a boss battle, and a password system allows previously completed stages to be skipped.
