This futuristic fighting game centers on a tournament organized by the powerful Ultratech corporation to test its combatants and technology recovered from an alien spacecraft. In one-on-one bouts, the player selects a character and must deplete both of the opponent’s health bars first. The tournament roster includes humans, cyborgs, and beings created or discovered by the corporation.
Combat features auto-doubles: pressing a set sequence of buttons makes a character perform a combo automatically. Special combo breaker moves can interrupt an opponent’s chain of attacks. A match goes to the fighter who empties both of the opponent’s health bars, rather than requiring two wins in a best-of-three-round format.
