A sports action game with RPG and simulation elements follows Ken, a karate fighter in the 1980s who aims to become the best and open his own dojo. Newly awarded a black belt, he balances work, training, and fights while earning money and reputation.
Players improve Ken’s attributes and skills, learn karate techniques, and take part in tournaments, special events, and exhibitions. Matches use different rules, ranging from bans on face punches to no-holds-barred fights, and injuries can occur during combat. The game features retro graphics and a soundtrack combining 1990s sounds with Japanese melodies.
