Set in the fantasy world of Dungeons & Dragons, this role-playing game sends a party into the frozen lands of the Spine of the World, where ancient dungeons and long-buried secrets lie beneath the snow. The player creates and customizes a company of up to six heroes, exploring the harsh wilderness and battling monsters.

Combat unfolds in real time with the option to pause, using rules based on the second edition of AD&D. The collection includes the Icewind Dale campaign and two expansions: Heart of Winter and Trials of the Luremaster.
