A real-time space strategy game set three thousand years in the future, where humanity seeks to conquer the last independent galaxy, the Universal Heart. The player commands Captain Iconah’s organic fleet and investigates the Heart’s location and purpose.
Ships can be genetically modified in real time to gain weapons and abilities, with their appearance changing to reflect those alterations. The branching campaign combines resource gathering, technological upgrades and combat with interactions with alien races, which can be approached through alliances or by taking their resources. The game also includes two-player cooperative play, with both participants controlling one fleet, and multiplayer battles.
