A visual novel about college life and the search for love, it follows Muse as he tries to make sense of a question from his sister Eureka: will he be her “opposite bank”? Their conversation is followed by new encounters and a series of complications. Among the girls who enter his life are Hope, who is always sunny and optimistic, and Jade, who feels unnoticed; their stories involve personal struggles and hardship.
The narrative draws on a legend about the manjusaka flower, whose fragrance is said to bring back memories of past lives. The tale tells of a flower elf and a leaf elf, separated by a curse and reunited through repeated reincarnations. The college romance echoes this legend and its themes of separation and lives lived again.
