This tactical strategy game with shooter elements takes place in a dystopian 2098, where human interaction has largely moved into virtual reality and three mega-corporations vie for control of Earth. In Fray, players pledge allegiance to a corporation and assemble a squad of four soldiers from distinct classes, each with its own weapons and abilities.
Players assign actions to their soldiers during each turn; once the timer expires, both sides’ orders play out simultaneously in real time. Online matches support two to four players, and solo training maps are also available. Battles award experience and credits, while each class has its own progression system.
