This turn-based role-playing game follows four everyday nerds who are drawn into a fantasy world and mistaken for heroes. The group must battle a ridiculous villain, while the adventure moves from a classic dungeon with dragons to other fantastical settings. Its story features parody, cameos and humor, mixing familiar fantasy elements such as magic with unexpected details like pizza.
The player leads a party of four, explores the world, fights enemies in turn-based battles and takes on side quests. Choosing the party leader grants special bonuses that depend on their position in battle. Character progression includes up to 100 experience levels, while the party can learn more than 200 special powers and spells and make use of a range of items, from potions and weapons to armor and shirts.
