A historical strategy game set in the 19th century, Cossacks II: Napoleonic Wars puts players in command of armies fighting for dominance over Europe. The forces include Napoleon’s Grand Army, Russian troops with Cossack cavalry, Austrians, Britons, Prussians and Egyptians. Large battles unfold across varied terrain and weather conditions.
Players can take part in a strategic campaign, history-inspired battles and open-ended skirmishes, as well as compete or cooperate online. Victory depends on more than combat: opponents can be weakened economically, treaties can be forged, and their loyalties can be bought. Troop morale, supplies and experience also shape the fighting, with well-provisioned units able to endure longer and gain value on the battlefield.
