A real-time tactical strategy game about the Vietnam War, spanning events from the defeat of the French colonial army to the Viet Cong victory over South Vietnamese forces in 1972. It features five major battles based on historical scenarios, along with background information and hints.
Players lead either side, managing airmobile forces, artillery and air strikes as they position and move units across the battlefield map. Battles are shaped by the day-night cycle, weather, terrain, supply lines, formations and unit experience. Scenario variables can be adjusted to create alternate outcomes, and the game includes a single-player campaign and two-player head-to-head mode.
