A turn-based strategy game based on the board game Settlers of Catan, it casts the player as a colonist on a newly discovered imaginary island. Strategy and trading help secure control of the territory and resources in competition with other players.
Players can face computer opponents or compete against others. The game includes a tutorial, several house-rule options and different dice-roll settings; its computer opponents are based on historical figures and offer varying difficulty levels.
