This turn-based card role-playing game is set in a fantasy world where the Crusader’s homeland has been overrun by the inhabitants of the Nethermist. The hero explores randomly generated dungeons and fights monsters in a board-game setting.
Skill cards let the Crusader attack enemies, interact with the surroundings, and disarm traps, while item cards provide equipment. Cards wear down with use and must be replaced, and newly unlocked traits alter the Crusader’s innate skills. After dying, the hero can return to the place of defeat to recover lost gold and items, but another death moves the marker and replaces the previous loot.
