This top-down action game centers on classic Bomberman battles, in which participants use bombs and power-ups to defeat their opponents. Bomberman Ultra features 14 arenas with different hazards and features, including trapdoors and deadly tornadoes that affect the course of a match.
Before a battle, players can customize their character with accessories, body styles, and costumes, combining them into more than 150,000 possible looks. Multiplayer matches support up to eight players online or four locally, and their rules and arena gimmicks can be adjusted.
