This science-fiction beat ’em up crossover of Battletoads and Double Dragon follows the Battletoads and brothers Billy and Jimmy Lee as they team up against the Dark Queen and the Shadow Warriors. The heroes set out for the giant Colossus spaceship to stop a plan to conquer the galaxy.
Players choose one of the three Battletoads or one of the Lee brothers and fight through seven levels. Alongside hand-to-hand combat, the game features spaceship control and turbo-bike sequences; one stage shifts from beat ’em up action to a space shooter. The game offers a single-player mode and two options for two players, one allowing them to attack each other and the other disabling that feature.
