This post-apocalyptic action RPG with horror elements follows a protagonist who awakens in a ruined world, burdened by unexplained guilt, and descends into a mysterious tower in search of absolution. Along the way, the protagonist fights monsters, explores ever-changing dungeons, and scavenges for items that can aid survival in the devastated land.
Death does not end the adventure: it moves the story forward and reveals more about the world of Baroque. The protagonist can find and use weapons and items, as well as acquire stat-boosting parasites whose effects grow when combined.
