This fantasy, turn-based role-playing game follows a party of adventurers searching for seven pieces of the broken Destiny Wand. The theft and destruction of the wand have ended centuries of peace in the Realm, leaving the party to face roaming mercenaries and the archmage Lagoth Zanta. Characters can be created or imported from The Bard's Tale, and a party can include up to seven active members.
Exploration takes the party across a large wilderness, through six cities and into multiple dungeons. Cities contain taverns, banks and dungeon entrances, while casinos and the new Archmage magic-user add to the available features. The party finds pieces of the wand in dungeons and gathers them to restore it.
