A futuristic shooter featuring combat robots, Bangai-O Spirits builds its battles around dodging attacks and unleashing powerful special moves. Players fight through levels crowded with enemies and projectiles, combining tactical decisions with fast-paced shooting.
The game includes cooperative and competitive modes for 1–4 players over local wireless. Its level editor lets players modify existing stages or create new ones from scratch. Levels, high scores, and gameplay footage can be transferred between Nintendo DS systems using Sound Load, which encodes the data as audio files.
