This collection of text adventures from Infocom, Inc. brings together entries from the Zork series and Planetfall. It includes Zork I, Zork II, Zork III, Beyond Zork, Zork Zero, and Planetfall; much of the collection draws on the history of the Great Underground Empire, an absurd world with its own past and humour.
Players explore settings described in text and solve puzzles, often through unusual or humorous solutions. The stories, riddles, and characters reward close reading and imagination, continuing the text-adventure tradition of making progress through interpreting descriptions and finding the right actions.
