ZiGGURAT is an arcade shooter about the last human on Earth fighting endless aliens atop a towering stone pyramid. The goal is to take out as many enemies as possible as they keep advancing, while the world ends in the background.
Aiming is tied to the changing sizes of the aliens’ eyes and the weapon’s blasts: hitting larger targets with larger shots can trigger explosions and chain reactions. Players can control aim with horizontal sweeps along the bottom edge of the screen or use a slingshot-style control mode, and the game tracks performance across sessions. Its presentation pairs 16-bit-style pixel art with 8-bit sounds.
