This first-person adventure with interactive-film elements follows journalist Jonathan Hunt as he investigates a mystery in the Hungarian city of Eger. Among the papers of his great-grandfather, Jonathan finds two letters from 1898 written by Professor Ábray, a scientist who claimed to be working on a time machine. As he tries to discover what happened to the invention, someone begins working to stop him.
Players explore locations, examine objects and documents, question characters, and choose actions to uncover clues. Some objects become available only later, while inventory items can be enlarged and combined. The investigation branches into several lines, making it useful to revisit locations and pursue clues systematically.
