This action platformer based on Marvel Comics follows Wolverine and the X-Men. After Magneto and Sabretooth capture him, Wolverine is stranded on a deserted island and must make his way through stages filled with enemies and traps before confronting his captors.
Wolverine can jump, duck, punch, and kick, as well as extend his claws; using them consumes energy, which can be restored by eating food and drinking beverages. Levels contain icons that restore health or grant extra lives, while special icons let other X-Men—including Jubilee, Havok, and Psylocke—offer advice or temporary assistance. Defeating enough minor enemies briefly puts Wolverine into a “Berzerker” mode.
