Where the Wild Things Are is a fantasy platformer about Max’s adventures on the mysterious island of the Wild Things. He crosses dangerous terrain, fights creatures with his scepter, and runs, jumps, climbs and swings past obstacles. The story, inspired by the book and film, takes Max beyond the events of the movie.
Along the way, Max befriends the Wild Things and teams up with them. Each has distinct abilities that help solve action puzzles and overcome obstacles, while collected items and power-ups grant new skills. Max can return to the Wild Things’ village to play mini-games and take part in dirt-clod fights.
