A mixed martial arts fighting game based on UFC bouts. Players choose from a roster of more than 100 fighters and compete in the Octagon; the game also features UFC commentators, referees, trainers and other event personnel.
Combat includes upper-body and head movement for dodging, as well as strikes from different ground positions. Players control their position against the cage and use strikes, submissions and transitions. A custom fighter can combine moves from different martial arts disciplines, including Sambo, Karate and Greco-Roman wrestling, and can use a southpaw stance.
