An adventure role-playing game with real-time combat and exploration, set on the mainland of Roland. After witnessing strange events—a blood moon and animals driven mad—a ranger is asked by the chief of the NaBaer tribe to deal with raiders who have seized the settlement.
The player explores a large area and chooses how to approach enemies, from direct weapon combat to stealth kills and ranged attacks with thrown objects. The base camp offers a sword, crossbow, bow, shield and spear, but the ranger leaves with only a sword and must find the other weapons. Resources found during exploration can be used to enchant weapons, while fruit and meat restore health.
