Tank Beat is a tank game controlled by drawing routes and firing with the stylus on a map. Actions on the lower screen are reflected on the upper screen, where the tank follows its route and shoots at enemies. Players take on a range of missions and command different vehicles, from small tanks to missile carriers and heavy Panzers.
Story mode spans 27 levels, with new tanks unlocked by completing objectives. Skirmish mode lets players practice on maps and in vehicles unlocked in Story mode, as well as on additional levels. Battle mode supports free-for-all matches for up to four players over wireless play or Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection.
