This arcade baseball simulator combines a comic presentation with the rules and physics of the sport. In Super Mega Baseball, players handle pitching, batting and fielding, with moves such as jumping, diving, wall catches and power swings to master. Games can be played solo, against the CPU, or in local multiplayer for up to four players, with both competitive and co-op play available; a season mode pits teams against the CPU.
The Ego difficulty system lets each player adjust the challenge to their skill level. Match achievements earn Starpoints, which raise player levels, while hired coaches and trainers improve team attributes. The game tracks batting and pitching statistics, and a character editor lets players customize their team's names and appearance.
