Standpoint is a first-person puzzle platformer set in a labyrinth where the player can change the orientation of the world. Walls become floors, and corridors and obstacles shift, opening new routes and calling for a different approach to spatial puzzles. The labyrinth holds secrets, and elements of the environment—including death—can be used to overcome its challenges.
The surroundings reflect the stages of grief and change with the emotions, while the narrator’s cryptic clues suggest a deeper meaning behind the events. The soundtrack responds to the player’s movements, and the game also features time-trial challenges.
