Roll in the Hole is a puzzle game about PoPo, a panda setting out to recover ice cream stolen by the gorilla Uggi. After waking from a summer nap to find his treats gone, PoPo gives chase on a journey that takes him from the jungle into outer space.
Players roll PoPo through each level toward the exit, choosing a route and collecting scattered ice cream along the way. Grass, sand, and ice affect how the panda moves, so the surroundings must be taken into account. PoPo also encounters Uggi and an alien named Zappi.
