This music game centers on a rock band performing songs with guitar, bass, drums, and vocals. Players can perform together in the same room or online, with a catalogue spanning punk, metal, alternative and classic rock, among other styles.
Rock Band lets players create a rocker and customize their appearance, clothes, tattoos, signature moves, and instrument. During songs, drummers and vocalists can add their own flourishes in designated sections. If a band member performs poorly, the group can help them recover; playing certain sections perfectly together earns the band bonus points.
